About Féile Inse Chor

Step into summer with Féile Inse Chór

Féile Inse Chór is a mini-festival in and for the village of Inchicore, happening on 14th and 15th June.

Most events are free and with no booking required. Check individual events for details.

It has a couple of simple aims: to highlight and celebrate different aspects, arts, and places of the village; and pilot a simple and collective approach to holding a summer festival, which might grow some more in future years.

There will be a range of different events, organised by different people and groups, in different places – with music, writing, nature talks, singalongs and a community picnic – under a shared festival banner.

Different events celebrate the web of things that make the area special: people and place, community and culture, urban aspects and pockets of nature.

Beidh roinnt imeachtai trí Ghaeilge ina measc, go mór-mór in Áras Inse Chór ar Corrán Grattan, in the former naíonra school, beside the park on Grattan Crescent.

Check out events (some for families, some for adults) over 14-15 June in Turvey Park, Small Changes, Conradh na Gaeilge, McDowells, Mercy Secondary School, Inchicore Sports & Social Club, and hopefully more locations to come.

And people or groups in the area (arts, community, sports, cultural) are very welcome to come on board – bringing other events they are organising, or could organise, into this féile for all.

This 2024 pilot mini-fest is being supported by Dublin City Council, Conradh na Gaeilge, Foras na Gaeilge and Kilmainham Inchicore Network, in the hope it may stretch and grow again next year and beyond.
